Mission Statement

TITLE:POINT is a theatre of discovery.
We develop original scripts, inspired by questioning, experience, science, myth, belief... and above all else, curiosity. We believe that artists, through honesty, individuality and flexibility, transform the text and produce engaging experiences, inside theatre walls and often elsewhere .

History

TITLE:POINT was officially founded in November, 2006 by Theresa Buchheister and Samara Naeymi after the warm reception of Q and Y: A Brief Comedy About Death and the acceptance of JourneyPath: An Experiment in Rightness into the 2007 Ontological Incubator Residency. In 2007, Title:Point was joined by Fil Vocasek. In 2008, Samara and Fil exited Title:Point and entered into divergent ventures, while continuing to collaborate with Title:Point on individual projects.   In 2011, Amy Virginia Buchanan and Ryan William Downey joined as creative partners and Charlotte Horton joined as resident stage manager, adding 8 more names to the T:P team.  After 4 years and change, T:P continues to learn, change, and (re)define itself (ourselves?).
