THE AZERBAIJAN A/V CLUB creates “visual jazz”, blending acoustic and electronic instruments, improvised music, and live projections into a dense synaesthetic experience. With a lineup that includes clarinet, percussion, DJ and VJ, the band applies Ornette Coleman’s harmolodic principles to multimedia art, a unique combination of live concert, silent movie, and hypnotic trip.
